Had lunch last Saturday for a couple in are 40's. Soup, cake and tea (all excellent on a chilli day). Nice environment and prompt pleasant service. Cost around £31 for 2, fair price. Better than the queue for the restaurant the floor below.

What a fab place. Marvelous dining and really lovely staff. We had the homemade courgette soup and it was delicious. Creamy, tasty and just mighty fine. Served with a warm, fresh roll. The decor up here is brilliant. Staff were the best. Highly recommended.

I've been to this cafe a few times now and had very varied experience. Today's visit far outshone my previous one. Quick friendly service. Good food (had the coronation chicken sandwich - exactly as stated, comes with crisps, salad and coleslaw) and added a cheeky cinnamon swirl. I think the only thing that let's it down is the echoey room, which my hearing aids struggled with a little (harsh given its location in a mill), for me a little background music wouldn't go amiss...

I wish we had come here for lunch instead of coffee. The diner was a nightmare - go with earplugs. Here it was calm and pleasant.
